Justa...that could be the way it plays it (and it makes sense as both viewpoints can be seen as "extreme", with the truth lying somewhere in between). With a trough of orders activities for 6 months or so as the overcapacity issues get worked out. If so, there should be a divergence between the semiconductor producers and the semi equipment companies (the latter being further down the "food chain" of orders activity. If so, the stocks should stall as guidance comes out in the next few weeks, but I'm not sure we'd see a retest of the lows. The conference call that will be the single most important therefore, will be INTC's, and I'll be interested in hearing whether their orders are actually picking up

On an historical basis, we're still well above where most of these companies hit bottom, at least on a price/sales basis.
