JRI,

Now that you and Shack are getting into the wave thing, we have 5 people who post about Elliott here. There are various valid counts in here and there is no way to know which is correct. Following waves is like climbing a tree structure, you know, from the leaves inward (toward the root). As each new significant moves unfolds, a possible scenario or two is dropped and the small list of possibilities is narrowed down.

What helps one hedge the list of possibilities is respecting the the rules and guidelines of Elliott. Many posters who talk waves have no appreciation for this and will identify a series a waves that violate a rule (invalid) or a guideline (warning).

I am going to start a thread for Elliott analysis this weekend. I have a couple of ideas that will make this work better given SI's text-only interface. This also has the advantage of taking some of the wave-talk off this thread. From time to time, if the other thread can agree on a few scenarios going forward, then we'll just cross-reference the posts to CFZ.

I'll be posting at least an SPX and a COMPX chart this weekend to get things going.

Cheers

Wow, you are trying to nail this thing down to the point! I like 2050 for the end of this impulse and thats all I am caring about right now. The "c" can wait (if thats what it is)

I tend to agree with AA's response that we maybe need to take this elsewhere. I'm just waiting for Luc to pipe up with a "Fu*k wave...we're goin down"-g

Your roadmap has this as a corrective a-b-c correcting the Jan decline, I am not on the same page as per a previous post
