Yeah, BC and I have been touching on this for months -- wondering when the big multi-month rally would start. We always looked at this question wrt to Elliott. I think there are possible scenarios here that some do not appreciate/respect. The most outrageous example would be this: who's to say that we have not finished a large A-B-C in tech off the March top and are now heading to new highs in a new bull move (i.e., just for fun, imagine that we are now beginning a large impulse wave 5, where what we have seen since March is only a 4).

In the smaller timeframes, the key question for me is are we correcting within the move coming off January -- in other words, is the leg that began January 31 over? If we can be fairly confident that it is -- that it counts out properly, then yes, we have to look at this rally as something of a higher degree.

Your two posts raise some good questions. I'll be posting some counts this weekend that we can use as the basis of further discussion.
