It is commonly said that the bottom (of a stock or market in general) is reached when bad news is ignored. MOT's poor results did not cause further drop. I think LRCX also. Amazon's losses actually resulted in a 50% appreciation. So the short term trend is up. How long it goes depends on whether economic news is worse than currently expected.
