Education and income levels correlate, and both have an inverse correlation with religious faith. Correlations are tricky things, and I'm not sure I'd want to draw any conclusions from those data, nor do I wish to speculate on the substance of the prayers of the uneducated.

I don't think that was my observation. I think I took a quote from something and said it was interesting. I've no idea about the link between education and religion personally so I cannot make a personal observation that would be more than anecdote (see following anecdote, from which I conclude...nothing)- although all the atheists and agnostics I have met were at least college educated, but most of the people I meet and talk to are college educated. I don't get into religion with my boxperson at the super market, for example.
