Right on Jorj... the whole chairman of the board concept is scary too. Make a bad call... no problem, delete it! Without question, that feature has already been overly used to silence critics of on thread.

To those SI threads considering the move, if I lurk or participate in your thread, I will not follow you. I don't read Yahoo or RagingBull, and I fully expect ihub to either go that route (at least while it's free) or fade into obscurity. I certainly will not pay for a subscription.

Sam

Well, I see your point....but reading over many of the comments (not yours, but you know which ones I mean) on Bob's new IHub thread yesterday, I think kids is a more charitable word than I would have chosen to use. "Infants" comes to mind, as do other words......

I think Matt's focus is on positioning his brand to appeal to those of us who are tired of having to wade through that sort of petty infighting....how many posts yesterday were just there to try to provoke Bob (or test his limits) by either calling somebody a name or complaining because somebody else called somebody a name and didn't get punished for it? That's just useless crap, and a lot of the reason SI has lost some of its appeal is because too much of that goes on.

I posted something over there this morning about how my 7-year-old and 9-year-old were picking on each other during our recent trip, and I had to step in a couple of times to tell them to behave. But their behavior, which I thought was bad, was way more grown up than what some of the people on IHub were exhibiting yesterday. I think Matt should just be honest, and call it as he sees it.

After all, he's just a kid himself. <g>
