If I recall correctly, the whole COB concept and the ability to delete posts were introduced at the same time Jenna moved. I don't doubt the censorship features were probably added at her request. I agree with you, it's sickening to see her (and others) simply silence their critics while using their threads as a personal soapbox. The ability to block posts is one thing, but deleting them all together is completely another. With those functions and their carefully worded, legalistic rules about advertising (it seems they really went out of their way to let folks advertise w/o calling it advertising), I fully expect ihub to become a place for those touting their commercial services. I'm really just not sure how to react when it seems people respect my integrity and my aversion to letting a "cheerleaders only" environment exist anywhere, but they don't accept that I simply will not allow any deletion I feel is unwarranted. And that all deletions will go through me. As far as deletions are concerned, it's completely irrelevant whose name is in the "Chairman" spot except for the matter of posts that don't get deleted that should. And I intend to watch that as well. But really I'm fine with some folks wanting to wait until I prove myself again. I'm confident I'm able to.
