Juniper's Profit Rises, but It Warns on Revenue By CHRIS GAITHER, New York Times. SAN FRANCISCO, April 12 — Juniper Networks, a rapidly growing maker of Internet communications equipment, reported first-quarter earnings today that matched Wall Street expectations, despite reduced spending by its largest customers. Juniper said it managed to avoid the sharp sales declines of many competitors, include Cisco Systems, by gaining new customers....
