At noon today I was at Fry's in Sunnyvale and it took about 12 minutes to get to the checkout. People are still buying electronics, although one guy was buying Coke and potato chips.

Jacob, you are too much at times. Care to enumerate the reasons why you think we are in for a 1973 type of recession? I worked on Wall Street at the time and do agree that there is a strong resemblance to the market back then but do not see it in the economy. By the way I believe AG may have been there at that time as well, not sure though.
