Big Ideas vs Big Mouth

Let me keep this real simple (and friendly-like) for you. A little company like Hegco can always use additional energy, vision and leadership. If our chairman wants to become a more active player (and the board of directors agrees..they may not) then that's great...he's welcome...but...

What I'm telling you and Doug (who reads this I know) is that he should take a back seat to his communication professionals the same way that he's taken a back seat to his engineering professionals.

Get the picture. Doug created this baby...Hewitt Energy Group... This started as a one-man show, with the board of directors and shareholders treated with disdain by a bright guy who had vision...but only one-third of the skills. He got the resources but was clearly over his head when it came to getting production on line and getting the story out.

You imply that Doug has made changes to management..that some have been let go. But you are wrong. We have Rodney and Micheal and Doug...the same players all along. We have had changes though to the board of directors (which resulted from Doug's failures). We also have acquired (following the El Grande debacle)a staff team of field experts.

You are quite wrong in your definition of leadership. Good leaders do not take credit for success then download the responsibility for failure. They share the credit and accept the blame. Good leaders surround themselves with expertise that they do not have. They listen to these people and inspire them to action.
So it's time to listen Doug.

This means no inteviews with Stockhouse...no quotes...keep the releases factual under MC's signature...DON'T SHARE YOUR VISION WITH THE WORLD JUST MAKE IT F#!*^ING HAPPEN!

(And BTW c.d...this is not 'personal' this is sound and practical business advice in the best interests of everyone who wants to increase our share price. If Doug blows hot air...Hegco will continue to go nowhere..if it's not me then someone else will give him a custard pie face with his old quotes).
