that repair tool is for 5.5. it worked for me and i have ie5.5. i think it's just confusing that the article does not go beyond calling it ie5... kinda' like win9x

follow the clickstream and see if it works.

oh, wait a minute, you said ie5.5 AND winme, didn't you? :( the article does not list winme. bummer. have you tried anyway?

That is a great tool! Do you happen to know if they have one for IE5.5 and WinMe?

I have IE 5.5 SP1 installed and am currently running IE 6.0 Beta with Windows ME and the Repair tool is available on both IE versions.
