In the April 16 Barron's (page 28-30), VETERAN DOW THEORIST Richard Russell thinks we've entered a period that will play out like the 1966-74 "Secular Bear". He sees a series of mini-bull and mini bear swings over the next 4-5 years. Over this span, the market will go nowhere. He sees a market collapse in the "give-up" stage of the bear market that could take the Dow down to 2500-5350. Worst case would be triggered by a falling value of the dollar and foreign sales of their U.S. stock and bond holdings. He says we ain't seen nothing yet.

So cheer up and have a happy holiday. It's only one man's opinion.

P :-)
