Bruce, Your message was ever so timely. My spouse and I were discussing 3DO's online capabilities just this morning. The company's Might and Magic series should prove to be the answer for strategy enthusiasts who will go online in a big way.
I'm betting that 3DO will play a part in Sony's PSX 2 online strategy for the North American market. I'll even bet that Sony is the first to endorse Hawkins internet patent. This probably explains Trip's reluctance to pounce on the XBox.

Happy Easter,

David P. O'Connor

Bruce, Nintendo's GameCube delayed at least until the Fall 2001.

Bruce; Kindly excuse these early Sunday morning ramblings. The weather forecast calls for a spectacular day, so before I get at it, I'll pass along some very local news on our beloved 3DO.
A fitness center where I workout on an almost daily basis, is located in a downtown shopping mall shared by all sorts of businesses. One of these happens to be a video game retailer known as Microplay. They have a great selection of games for every platform. All the most recent 3DO titles for the PSX 2 were featured prominently on display. The manager said that Warriors of Might and Magic was flying off the shelves. I mentioned to him that High Heat Baseball was getting rave reviews because that was the only game he didn't have on hand.
I was thrilled to see 3DO games totally dominate the PlayStation 2 display. You can bet that any minor bugs found in these titles will be worked out long before the Christmas buying season. The third quarter fiscal 2002 should prove to be very interesting.

All the best,

David Patrick O'Connor
