<OT> Random thoughts: *Nice post, Mish. I spoke with an older gentleman about six months ago on the problem with investing in KO (similar circumstances to GE, different, yes, but similar). Try as I might, he just couldn't understand why KO is a bad, bad investment idea for young people today.
* I have a couple of hoot owls in my yard tonight who apparently heard the Easter sermon about hope, renewal and believing in the future. I'm not a wildlife expert, but from the sound of things, the hoot owl, at least around here, won't be extinct any time soon.
* Nasty round of storms blew through here last night. No tornadoes, but trees and power lines down everywhere. Interstate highway-grade road signs snapped in half. Stuff like that. Twenty-six power poles blown down across a major north-south U.S. artery of commerce. Road closed all day.
* All of a sudden, the hoot owls are quiet again. The still of the night has returned. Maybe now I can get some sleep.
* Happy holidays to all, especially those electric company linemen who are still at it as I type this, 23 hours after the storm hit. Thanks guys.
