Carranza, any numbers on the royalties on the GSM
airinterface??

I know that Royal Philips of Holland was a driving force
for the basic idea on an air interface which was battery
friendly, the Gaussian FSK with 90 degree phase changes.

However, I'm not that knowledgable on the birth of the
SIM card which unbundled the handset and the operator,
although I know many markets who still experience that
same pain of bundled markets.

Ilmarinen.

P.S. Additionally I'm really fascinated with all
those HiHi RF parts needed for CDMA, always been
involved in all that jazz of RF-HiFi, as well as that
dense forrest of CDMA masts, also invested in
regular finnish pine.

Carranza,

Ilmarinen, the GSM Cabal is far worse than Q, charging much more than 5% for its IPR

Please post a link where Qualcomm charges a 5% royalty on CDMA.
