Motorola is famous for their GSM and
hinged-plastic-lids-with-microphone-on-substantially-
parallell-substrate patents, and now for their losses.

Not to say that patents aren't an important part of
new solutions to old problems, but the operators
are still the ones bringing in the money, cent by cent,
from the back of the end users.

Verizon has a problem with it's own network, badly
in need of investments, standards and compatible,
digital upgrades.

Ilmarinen.

I put my money on Q. That may be but for those of us with interest in Nokia, which is why we visit this "Nokia" titled thread, Qualcomm is but a passing curiosity, a small wireless supplier. Why do you and other Qualcomm apostles have to litter this Nokia focused thread with Qualcomm discussion? It is all off-topic and inappropriate. There are, of course, "Qualcomm" thread for the explicit discussion of "Qualcomm" aren't there?
