UFGator: I am bullish for the next year+... extremely so w/ semi stocks. Anyone buying Fidelity or Rydex Electronics fund today will see extremely good returns 12-18 months from now.

Short term I am cautiously bullish... the open wil be important... could see slight pullback as typical, but my belief is we'll finally see the semi's break out. The reason I am bullish is because the economy has most of the negative issues behind it now... the positives will come soon enough. Bear markets typically don't last longer than 1 year... I expect the same this time around. When you see all the major news magazines with bear market cover stories, and shorting becoming the latest craze, then you know the market is about ready to turn. I've never seen so many shorts in my life, and the Bull to Bear ratio was getting relatively low. 1700 was, IMO, *the* bottom... with of course a slight glitch below that due to the China spy plane BS. Economies do take a while to reverse, but remember we are in an information/technology age where things are moving a whole lot faster, and regardless: there is only positive things ahead, rather than all the negatives. Also important, every single analyst/fund manager I see is predicting market turnaround second half of year. I'll gladly buy before they do. ;-)
