Hickey in his latest report predicted that LLTC and MXIM will miss/guide much lower. I'm short them, MU, XLNX, ALTR and some banks and retailers. Orders pick up that is seen is absolutely normal. Some semi cos didn't have ANY orders in Q1. What I expect is that their customers will request 30-40% price reduction. Remember AMAT did this a few weeks ago. That means semi cos margins will be wiped out. Yes, they will be selling stuff, but they won't be making money. I'm going to stay short. I may sell covered poots. I think if you are somewhat bullish, paired trade like long AMD, short INTC makes sense.
