That is always possible. Supposing God exists, I doubt it is so severe, though.....

One difference. Even people who don't play music or appreciate art can at least SEE the art and hear the music. This does not appear to be the case for religious experience. For us unwired folks it IS the emperor's new clothes. It really is. To strive for a common metaphor you may understand.
