{Message #257 from Jorj X. McKie at Apr 13, 2001 6:22 PM
Joseph,
I made no personal attacks. There was nothing questionable about any of my posts in that regard. Like I said before, how someone interprets my written words, which were clearly not personal attacks, is out of my control. And just because somebody may interpret them as personal attacks, does not make them personal attacks. That would be more indicative of a personal problem on their part than an accurate definition of my actions.

I did not click on the link in the body of the message that Josef responded to the dick head comment in. I did not click on the link because for some reason, links to other sites from iHub do not work for me and I didn't feel like cutting and pasting it. I acknowledged, from the responses that followed, that it was probably offensive. I did not absolve anyone of anything.

My point with the "first blood" comment is that if you punch somebody in the stomach, you should not be surprised if they punch you in the face and knee you in the groin in response.}

I posted that in a stretch there may have been one or two questionable posts. You replied in essence that how someone takes your posts is not your problem, the other person has personal problems . Is it possible that different people have different tolerance levels from yours and still, they are quite normal? Or am I now learning that you are the standard against which we are all to be measured?

Then you go on to say that if you kick someone in the stomach, (calling someone a "dickhead" on a message board certainly qualifies to be in the stomach kicking category in anyone's book, no question about it) they should expect nothing less than to be punched in the face and kneed in the groin.

Sounds normal to me!!!

Did we ever find out what it was that was posted in response to his being called a 'dickhead", and what actions were taken by bob?

Have we figured out why bob had such bad luck to be fired and jeff kept on? It seems kind of unfair, bob was here so much longer than jeff, and they must have had a lot more information about bob than jeff to base a decision on, and I never liked that "spin the wheel, you're fired" way of doing things, anyway.
