Bush referred to Ted Kennedy as splash about a month or so ago. He did that after he learned that Ted had a dog named splash. I thought it didn't sound like something a president should be saying in public. I think the reason he has been using nicknames for people is related to the trouble he has bring the correct word out of his head when he is speaking. I know the information has to be on the internet somewhere but I couldn't come up with the right words to find it in a quick search.

Trade secrets (the Moyer special) is on tonight at 9 ET. It may not be televised nationally since it is a PBS station.

Yes, the chemical companies used vinyl chloride in spray cans even though they knew this was bad for someones health. Maybe they didn't do it directly themselves but they kept it a secret that it was unhealthy. This is one of the things that is addressed in Trade Secrets. I didn't pay close attention to the whole show the first time it was on, that's why I plan to watch it again tonight.
