I'm partial to the French solution to Greenpeace. We wouldn't even need a torpedo, just have some half-in-the-bag tourist "emergency blow" the boat under the Greenpeace ship (oops....), re-submerge, and sail home...

Hate to disappoint, but Ralph probably gets those votes all over again in 2004. If the Dems move any further to the left, they're over the cliff...

Dear Amer, are working to reduce pollution. I will be glad to see some good posts on why Atomic Energy is the only realistic way to reduce future environment pollution. As an extreme liberal I believe as you do that if you abuse it you lose it. Thus educating the vast vacant liberal minded techno retards about the benefits of nuclear energy will be difficult as it just so obvious to any with a 1% or greater understanding of today technology and how it shapes the world we live in.

Yes Mr. Nader was an out to lunch dude but he did a great job of making the super retard in you face idiot a world record holding presidential recount loser . Nothing like Nadine intervention in the life of a ninnyvinny flunkie and techno fraud.

AS: Yes, indeed. The mining industry led all other industries in soft money to the RNC--more than $5 mill.

Boom! Arsenic standards rolled back to 1942 regs.

Yet another study using computer modeling released today supporting global warming theory.

Yesterday Federal circuit judge in SF rules against ENRON(another huge Bush contributor)forcing them to abide by contracts they signed promising energy to the California University system and enjoining them from taking resources they promised to the universities and selling them for huge profits on the spot market.

And by the way,one other trend we are seeing is the resurgence of the spooks in driving funding to the military industrial complex. When they weren't busy being otherwise completely inept, the CIA was routinely overstating the military capabilities of US adversaries for at least 20 years, dating back to when papa Bush was at the helm and right through the Reagan years. Now we get Rumsfeld back, junior in the WH, cold warriors all around together with the Pentagon pumping public funds into their favorite industries who survive on military contracts. Talk about socialism! Hah! Bush is a corporate socialist.

I notice jlallen has his own rightwing thread which any differing views are not allowed to post on.
So how is this so different from Left Wing Porch?

Let me restate that:
I notice Poet has her own leftwing thread which any differing views are not allowed to post on.
And that's also true. And LWP existed first; RWET was a response to it- -initially populated by those who had been banned by Poet.

Horray for Greenpeace - "GW The Toxic President". Has really earned this moniker since taking office. Besides wanting the country club set not to be taxed anymore his #1 agenda has been to maximize the pollution levels of our great country again. Hard to believe he's an educated Baby Boomer. Must like breathing those fumes down in Texas. The smell of money in the air. Never before have we seen such a bought and paid for tool of President. When he was approached by the Big Money Powers in Texas to run in the first place he knew what the deal would be. We'll put up the soft money, you use your charmisma to get us the presidency and then let us run things for awhile and set the environmental movement back 30 years.

If you believe this drivel, you'll be expecting a visit from the Easter Bunny tonight.....
