"IMO there's too much pessimist about Intel's results on this thread, so it's very likely they won't disappoint and we will see at least a temporarily NASDAQ rally."

I just posed the question of a what if scenario. I do not think that Intel will disappoint. And the only quarter that I think they have a significant potential for a loss in will be Q3.

I'm exceedingly pessimistic about INTC's Q1 results and Y2001 prospects, yes...and so much so that it wouldn't surprise me, that should INTC nosedive this week to below $20 that AMD would be caught in such a vortex...Sorry, but no matter which way I look at INTC I see HUGE problems for the foreseeable future. Whether AMD is at $20 or $30 on Wednesday, I'll be back in as AMD, by any comparative benchmark should not be one penny under $40, imho, even in this environment)...Just that I think the possibility of an INTC below $20 on Wednesday will elicit a kneejerk (and buying opportunity) negative reaction in AMD as well...Just want to have my money in my pocket this week as any surprise by INTC is highly probable to be on the negative side...Just don't think INTC can hide its warts after Tuesday!!! (AMD is still the best investment in the existing marketplace re future potential ROI, imho)...
