<<Where do you want the nuclear plant? In your backyard?>.

I have one in my back yard. No big deal except a lot more fishing.

Dear Amer, I have no fear of living next to any Nuclear plant. Well not any in Russia. As to your other recommendation, to supply 24x7 power tons and tons of batteries are required as you scale to higher percentage of contribution from these sources. The mountains of chemicals are far more nasty than the hundreds of cubic yards of nuclear waste.

The chemicals are everywhere and the nuclear waste is located in a small number of locations.
