hx4, thanks for that link, I e-mailed it out to everyone I know, beautiful photos.

Mardy, the satellite technology throws me. I presume its not Wi-Lans. If I'm right, then whose technology are they using. What spectrum does it use, what bandwidth is achieved. I would dearly love to get some understanding of this. Thanks

I believe there was a project using Wilan equip in a more isolated (Harbour Breton or Burgeo) community. I'll check and get back to you.

We'll be going home (St John's) mid August (we'll miss the summer--1st 3 days in Aug--LOL). Don't know if we'll get to that part of the south coast as we're doing the B&B thing with my mother. She's not too keen on boat rides. But you never know.
