That call by John Joseph on the semiconductors is what makes me very bullish on the Nasdaq near term. This is a call by analyst that has been bearish on the semis right from the highs of last year. Too many people will be listening to him and that includes the hedge funds that had been leaning short. The sellers just won't be there to force the SOX down. In his call, he did not say things are improving---that is what is so significant about his comments for the sector.

If the semis continue higher, the Nasdaq is going to get a boost. I had earlier thought about buying puts on the semis when the last rallied as those gains were very puzzling.
I bet many did short the sector. But now we have this bear saying the worst is here but the stocks have bottom. That is too strong a message.

...and makes for that explosive rally in the Naz continuing.
