The investment in Military build-up and technology created the fruit of the peaceful collapse of the Soviet Union and the technology seeds of the information economy. The boost to the technology development time line has created trillions in wealth and surplus and technology to make future environmentally sound progress possible. Super computers sooner at affordable prices mean understanding the genome sooner drastically increasing more affordable health care.
