Greenpeace is not trying to do anything but shine a mirror on the worst exploiters of the environment. If you saw some of the atrocities against nature they're trying to help us as a people avoid you would join their side. Unless you're the type who would buy baby seal, whale or sea turtle "products", burn down rain forests, support bombing a pristine tropical island or otherwise destroy or pollute our global eco-system which you in fact are a living-breathing (trying to breathe if we don't cool it with pollution) part of. The rain forest for instance provides you with oxygen. Yes YOU and me and your kids and grandkids. And it doesn't grow back for hundreds of years at best. So think of future generations. It's very selfish to destroy what isn't even ours to destroy. Unless you believe the earth belongs to corporations and militaries to do whatever they want with regardless of laws or common sense. Don't kill the Golden Goose. It will never lay its eggs again. It's why I don't respect Cheney and his 36 mill income trying to ravage the rest of it for his cronies just because they gave him all that soft money. Again campaign finance reform will check this kind of behavior in the future. On all sides of the political spectrum.
