Gotcha; thanks for the clarification. Given that definition, I agree with you. I had been under the impression that you meant the definition believing in no "higher order" or nothing other than what is immediately visible/perceived. (that's form off the top of my head, not a dictionary) As for perma-bears, there seems to be some overlap between them, and those who think the Fed Reserve is a sham, income taxes are illegal, etc, etc. Anyway, I think neither the perma-bears nor the reactionary-militia types would be nihilists in the sense in which I was using the word.
