Joseph, I agree that there are millions of companies in the US. Being a small business owner/partner for the last 20 years, I agree there are lots of companies out there that make decisions that are not based on OPTIONS. But let me point out two things there.....We are discussing a "layoff" by a company that DOES have OPTIONS for employees. And I beg to differ with you regarding your views that business decisions are not made based on the cost of it's employees. Employees are the probably the biggest continual expenses of a company.
