I am not trying to impress you with the "facts" greg...

...i would never dare to do that.

I am somewhat serious
when it comes to perceiving other peoples
little cherished dellusions though.

they can be very destructive in the end , and
only perpetuate "myths" that divide people
from knowing the complete "truths" about
themselves and their chosen beliefs,
that in fact came from other teachers in
other lands , centuries before...

Of course Buddhism wants to claim Jesus as it's own, to lend it credibility, yet Jesus condemns, and directly contradicts, all the distinct teachings of Buddha. Talk about a fictional make over, hundreds of years removed!
Talk about a fictional make over, hundreds of years removed! This must be the most blatant case of the pot calling the kettle black,

Very honestly greg , sometimes when I read your responses
I feel like I'm witnessing someone falling
and tripping all over themselves
in a desperate tumultuous
tangle.
I have no problems with the central core
beliefs of Christianity.

But , I think what you are trying to say is that
Buddhists made up all these stories to emulate
Christianity after Rome converted ?

That they waited for almost 1000years to copy
from all the many subsequent Christian
embellisments to the "gospel " stories
and later enhanced mythification ?

This is really the highest form of denial and
ignorance of history that I can imagine
coming from a 20th century human trying to hide his
head in the sand .
It is completely the reverse case in the chronology of
historical events.

The teachings and stories of the Life of Buddha
were extremely well evolved and advanced by the year
250 yrs before Christianity,
in the Great Indian Ashokan Empire
bartelby.com

These teachings King Ashoka had inscribed
in stone and put everywhere throughout the Indian
continent and the Buddhist/Ashokan Seal remains
on the flag of India today.

When the Buddha died in the 5th century,
there were literally 1000's of monks and
disciples, Kings and Princes, that had direct
contact with him in the 45 years that
he taught his ministry .

All 30,000 pages of the Buddhist Pali Cannon texts
were already recorded and committed to writing by
the year 30BC.

But they were already known, taught and practiced ,
and changed one of the worlds largest Empires in 250BC
and for centuries before.
All a matter of History , Greg.

You are truely in extreme denial and
relying on blind faith , and desperate to prove
what is not really important , but trying
to invoke hostility for lack of evidence
and historical fact.

Mars
