Brown's 50 Years of Innovation Includes Launching Telstar Satellite

Today's college graduates will sample an average of eight jobs in three different careers throughout their lifetimes, according to the United States Department of Labor. With statistics like these, it is hard to imagine, let alone accomplish, a half-century at one company. But for Walter Brown, the years just flew by [link below]. He recently celebrated his 50th anniversary at Bell Labs.

That's too funny!
Rumor has it that they didn't adopt vacuum cleaners until 1997. According to another procedure, they had to pay off the cost of designing, developing, and testing that broom procedure and show positive ROI for 10 consecutive years before they could transition to a new technology.
