Dalfin,

It great to have you back!

Those pictures were excellent.

I think you gave Polvie a woody by showing him all those boat pictures. The dude isn't going to be the same for a while now. At least not until he gets to put his own boat in and sail the open desert for a few weeks.
It's like showing a starving man beautiful pictures of a porter house steak grilling on a barbeque... <g>
His head isn't going to right for some time now...

Those yachts were something else.
I think that was the biggest catamaran I ever saw. I wonder how many it sleeps.

Probably the picture that struck me the most wasn't for the picture but rather the caption you wrote.
It was the picture of those 4 sailor dudes.
You explained how one guy was going to sail his 27 ft. boat to New Zealand. Talk about total freedom... He's got the ability to take a small boat like that and chart a course that gets him the other side of the world. Man! That is the ticket! Takes nerve, guts and know-how. I wonder what route he plans to take. Where will he stop along the way? At some point you figure they are completely out in the middle of the ocean by themselves. Where anything can happen and help isn't near by.

That is a dude that has faith.

A guy like that must have a lot of great stories to tell.

Your wife looks like she had a great time swimming with the Dolphins. That was cool.

Was the Raven the boat you helped someone bring down to southern California earlier this year?
That boat looked nice. How big was it? How the heck is the satellite dish able to stay focused on the satellite with the bobbing and weaving of the water? That's amazing. I guess if the marina is calm then it's no problem...

Thanks for sharing all those pictures. It was really cool to see them.

Now you got me thinking about boats again...
I bet Polvie is putting another coat of wax on his as I write this... <g>

Well it's good to see you around again. We missed ya.

<Clappy gets out the blender and begins making some concoctions for Dalin to try out to help him get his land legs back.>

<Dalin has been standing and swaying as if the NNBM was floating out in the sea. He keeps rocking back and forth, back and forth, trying to time when to take a step forward or back...>

<Clappy then runs out to the back yard and begins planting a bunch of agave plants in hopes that some day he can corner the agave market...>

I hope them agave plants don't mind a little snow once in a while... Perhaps I should plant them in my attic. Sure gets hot enough up there...
In December we can take it out of the attic and dress it up as a Christmas Tree...

Happy Easter everyone. I have my family coming up for the weekend. I gotta do some last minute cleaning up around the property before they get here...
Enjoy your weekend.

Dalin,

Thanks for those shots...I had a trip to PV back in the mid-80's that I keep thinking would make a great screenplay....I'll write it up and share the highlights here sometime.

Nice to see Chico's Paradise again, what a great spot. I had the best bloody mary I have ever had there...the bartender plucked the tomatoes hot off the vine and squeezed the juice directly into the glass...ooh that was good. Are there still kids down on the river ready to dive for coins? Beautiful spot.

Thanks for sharing, you get a gold star.

Scott
