Happy Birthday.

I was done with taxes on March, 20th. I like to get them done while I can still remember all my deductions.

Happy Birthday, Holly!

What a terrible day to be born! I can see where a child might grow up thinking there was some connection between her birth and the despair of the adults around her. That can't have been good for confidence.

You would have been safe in our house; Dan always gets an extension-- I think he feels somehow that he has control when he does that. That he's putting something over on the government even though he has to write a check to hold them at bay. They may be getting everything we own, but they;re gonna have to wait to know the details.

Why are you up at 3:45 in the morning? To get the taxes done? That's an awful time to do them. Isn't 3 am the time when we are closest to death? Or did I invent that?

I just tried to look it up, but couldn't find anything about it. I did learn that putting an onion at the head of the bed will help you sleep better.

Happy birthday, Holly.

It sounds as if you're a victim of parental procrastination all he way around. Otherwise, you could have childhood memories of celebrating your birthday on Valentine's Day surrounded by a cheerful mom and dad joyfully engaged in early tax filing.

Happy Birthday to You....

I'm doing taxes, too. Pretty easy with these computer programs. Or they would be, if I was more organized. I spend a lot of time hunting for records.
