Now of course ill be the first to cover if the market keeps chugging along :) :) Funny- no matter how emotional or twisted some of my posts get, I never ever have a problem admitting im wrong :) Guess after awhile, no matter how wise you are, how perfect your timing can be- youll always be in a situation where the market reacts 100% opposite of what you think :) I never forget that day when I put every penny, margin and all on NOVL long.. I knew without a doubt that the turnaround was real, and at 6 bucks a share- how could I go wrong? I was right- the report was fantastic! kicked serious ass.. and I was ready to cash in.. problem was, Asia was becoming a problem and the next day we had our worse point declines etc etc yadda yadda.. I ended up making .0626 per share.. Just goes to show.. Christ- its one thing to be wrong about an earnings report, but another when your right and still get punished :) Sharck- the uses for memory are never ending.. and everything from global position equipment to routers, street lights (flash memory believe it or not!) the list goes on and on.. but with the boom the last 2 years, everyone and his/her uncle seems to be producing.. Unless the economy makes a huge swing and we go back into hyper growth- I just dont know.. I went into my shorts with 1/3 position.. Will add the next on monday, and a bit more over 2100 on the nasdaq.. Im not risking more than a normal trade, just positioned a bit wiser.. but that was based on the fact that I realize I just dont know whats going to happen. Im betting that the momentum still hasnt completely changed, but so far if last week is an indication- im wrong :) Any long recommendations? I need to start some hedge action here! Any thoughts on BVEW and the pink crew? Hes usually right, so I jumped back in for another small ride on the long side there.. ok.. i gotta get out of this house.. im turning into a hermitt.. Is it too early for a beer and burger?/ just kidding.. never before 2pm :)
