How long? Well, I have been familiar with the "executive summary" of differences among religions and major sects since I was rather young. Didn't take much time. Since I have read a lot of religious literature in addition, certainly some time more, hard to count. Incidentally, most people that I know would not make religion solely, or even principally, an issue of someone keeping score of one's actions. It seems a particularly limited way of regarding the matter, which is part of my curiosity. Curiosity may have to balance practical considerations, but it is not driven by practical considerations. "Utility" is not the criterion by which one judges such matters. Whether one gains more or less understanding is.......
