John,

I am unfamiliar with the following words:

* proskect

* compretitors

<< A credible source on another thread said that NOK just flat didn't have any CDMA 1X phones and that they were tormented about the proskect of hAVING TO PURCHASE THEM FROM COMPRETITORS >>

Are you autistic? That is unfortunate.

Now as for the "credible source". Is that "credible source" a subscriber equipment manager for a carrier?

If that "credible source" is not an SEM, exactly who is the "they" that is "tormented about the proskect of having to purchase them from compretitors"?

You are aware, I assume, that there are only 2 1xRTT mobiles delivering in the world, and that at CTIA this year there were no (ZERO) operational models for the US market demonstrated.

Slacker may correct me if more "released models" are delivering in Korea.

Now this will all correct itself. MSM5105 will deliver before long. There will be a dozen models for 1xRTT in Korea by year end ... hopefully some with AOD/VOD but we may have to look beyond the MSM5105 for that. As Dr. J said ... enhanced bufferring is needed. That is the MSM5100 or whatever it delivers at after sampling concluded.
