If the company plans to utilize the tax loss carryover, I’d assume that they either have to
be acquired by a company that can use the loss (and the tax law on this is pretty
complicated from what little I understand) or else itself acquire a money making
company that would enable it to use the tax losses.

If anyone wants to invest, be aware that the spread is often 10% or greater.
