stomper: I saw that as well. Big houses DEMANDING,

... in the words of the media, that 'anyone who wants to catch the bottom,' buy TODAY.

My oh my.

I know people from major corps who are not only too afraid to look at their 401k statements for the past six months, but are also worried sick they'll lose their jobs.

If they do, they'll get 18 months or so (for 15-20 years loyal service) benefits. Then, they're on their own. Must seek health insurance, etc. No 'group rates' accessible.

And these are people in their mid-40s thru 50s.

Some things never change...except for the worse.

Agesim has accelerated with tech ... so unfortunate.

The 401K thing to begin with is a crock. Another trend in the mid-80s to get those g*damned employees 'off our backs.'

Perhaps this is a rant; if so, sorry.
