I can handle "japtown." A girl I went to high school with - woman now, of course - was working in Japan recently, and had a bad reaction to some medication she was taking . The Japanese are extremely racist and xenophobic, in case you didn't know. The doctors don't like to treat "foreign devils." She is permanently brain damaged and disabled. I got this information from her former husband - I remember her well - she was one of the most beautiful, intelligent women I have ever known. Until very recently, if you were not born in Japan of Japanese parents, you could not work in any governmental capacity as a civil servant. When did the law change? Last month.
