I know all about Apollo 13, Sandintoes (I think). I worked in space program for years. Your post caused me to think there might be some popular speculation that there was some kind of government cover-up re this mission. If so, I am unfamiliar with it and thought you might enlighten me. Not saying the government doesn't fib now and then. FWIW, the movie was remarkable in its faithfulness to the way things and people really were -- stated as fact, not opinion. Howard and Hanks maxed that episode without the slightest reliance on literary license. m
