At what cost in a slowing economy?

About a $300 for an air conditioner. But the savings in electricity would pay for this in 2 years with many more years of decreased energy cost in the estimated 20 year life of the unit.

Of course less electricity used means less coal, oil and gas burned to generate electricity. And that would mean less revenue for or the Oil and Coal companies that contributed $40 million to Smirk's campaign. But it was a good investment that will $400 billion out of the pockets of the consumers.

You tell us what the effect is on the economy.
