Hi John ,

I went from 200 to 300 to 500 to 1000. I have been day trading for over a year , it took me that long to feel comfortable moving to the 1000 share trades. For certain stocks I drop back to 500. But then if I can get 3/16 to 3/8 of a point I am probably out where with the smaller shares I had a little more patience. I also only trade a few stocks as a rule , CSCO , INTC , DELL, ORCL, JDSU and SUNW .
I still swing trade with 300 share lots in another account.
I hate to sound cliche but mental stops are important and key.
