With so many shorts and people thinking the SOX will fall harder... just how do you figure it will drop more?? Who will be selling?? Maybe you didn't look at the chart close enough?: finance.yahoo.com^SOXX&d=my Pay very close attention to the length of time, and the extent to which those '95 & '98 downturns lasted... then compare to our current downtrend (not at all interesting to you that it has happened just about every 3 years, and the bear was alive for almost exactly 1 year every single time??). "bubble tech spending"? So GE is foolish to save billions by going online? Dude... get real... any company not increasing their technology will die. I see it everyday. I have 2 extremely large companies coming to us asking us to put billions of their revenues online. Was there some over-optimism in the "bubble market"? Sure. But now we have the exact opposite situation: investors are overly skeptical of the Net and technology. That too will change. SOX will be up 100%+ 12-18 months from now. You heard it here first. You are definitely the poster kid of this bubble market. I believe the saying "Don't confuse brains with a bull market" comes in mind. You're real funny. I'll be more than happy to compare my returns w/ yours over the next year. Oh wait... I'm already ahead of your next 3 years' returns, and it's only been a month or so! Sorry...
