p.s... also, on timing, it should be noted that there are *always* trends out there waiting to be played. YHOO use to always go up before earnings and drop afterwards. MSFT and INTC use to have calculated post-earnings reactions at the open and 5-10 minutes afterwards... even before all the Net stock mania. Many, many stocks rise before earnings... in fact we see the NAZ rising after earnings preannouncements once again this quarter... just like last quarter. It's these trends which make serious, serious money. The trick is to identify these trends.
