Eric,

I certainly do look at volume, but not just in the context of a single swing. For example, a series of swings contracting in amplitude, on generally decreasing volume, indicates a consolidation zone.

In a trend, we'd expect to see lower volume on retracements.

On a test of top/bottom, its likely that the swing end will see higher volume.

So the answer is yes but primarily in context with tests and retracements -- patterns.

Best regards
Michael
