Of course that presupposes we can recognize greatness. Or that there is such a thing. Interesting to look at the assumptions in things.

Since it's Easter, I think it's appropriate to bring up how the religious sects failed even to recognize the greatness of a man called Christ as he walked the earth in his day here. Whether you are religious or not, it's hard to argue the greatness of Christ as the most famous man to have ever walked the earth. The facts are that he was executed by the religious for not agreeing with the rules and beliefs that were accepted at the time. Christ was a rebel and he dared challenge the teachings that men considered reverant.

I am told that Christ went through six trials......trials by the religious sects and was considered a heretic by them all. The religions of his day were intolerant of his teachings and condemned him to crucifixtion.
