MSFT could be the growth story for 2001, 2002

John, that chart is not the most compelling case you can find for a MSFT "growth story," is it? If you select some durations, like 3 months, MSFT looks better than IXIC, but if you select some others, like 2 years, IXIC looks better. And anyway, so what? The short-term chart you linked to seems to show that the IXIC is depressed and MSFT is stagnant, which would seem to make IXIC look like a better "growth story" than MSFT, wouldn't it?

I think you should stick to your more convincing MSFT prognoses, with hard numbers, like post 55679: "Love me or hate me, give me 150 and a stock split by this summer, I will be happy." Or post 55631: "If Gates is right, MSFT should hit new high by May 2001. a) Gates said anti trust case will be closed in 2-3 months. So say by end of April"
