You're lost in right-wing denial. The only clean emergy URANIUM? You try eating some of it and see what happens. How about sun, hydrogen, wind, geo-thermal? Not saying this is a perfect world and we can do without gas. But we have to save that gas and lessen dependency on it. That means conservation, efficiency and the president setting an example. People in this country waste maybe half the energy they burn. If we could just save half that we wouldn't have an energy crisis. What's wrong with trying? Turn off your lights, down your air-conditioners and heaters, wear clothes, sweat a bit, don't drive around for the hell of it, car-pool, buy more efficienct appliances, re-cycle and just don't buy into the philosophy that we are doomed and must rely on pollution to survive. That is very out-dated thinking. We will always have some pollution but let's keep it at a minimum not allow more and more the way Bush + Co are suggesting.
