Ibexx, i agree, he's saying something pretty simplistic--calculating how long certain issues would require to reach their old highs based on S&P avg. return of 11% since 1926. more interesting would be what prospective returns are, and the valuation question was not broached. it is certainly hard to judge values in a week where the average tech-stock fund gains 20% (!)--their best week in 15 years. amazing. thestreet.com Tech Funds Notch Best Week in 15 Years -- Let It Be a Warning
